Stefano Vigni started working as an apprentice goldsmith when he was only 14 and then practiced his profession in the best workshops in Florence. He thus learned a variety of arts, such as goldsmith's craft, the use of the chisel and sculpture.
His works can be found in Churches, Cathedrals, Castles, in the Vatican Museums as well as in Arab Palaces.
Today the "Cesello di Firenze" workshop is run by Riccardo and Lorenzo Vigni, who have been delighted to learn the teachings of their father Stefano and of Luigi Benucci – a renowned bronzist; they commit to reproducing the great masterpieces of the most important museums in the world, such as the Louvre (Paris), the Hermitage (St. Petersburg) and the Uffizi Gallery (Florence).
